What is accreditation

Accreditation bodies are organizations that evaluate and authorize certification bodies. These accreditation bodies ensure that certification bodies are competent and follow international standards in their certification processes.
Certification Bodies (CBs) conduct audits and issue ISO certifications to companies and organizations. They generally get accreditation by recognized accreditation bodies to ensure their certification processes are valid, reliable and more valuable.
